Bill
Vince: Project Manager |
| Bill is the manager of the RACA project and specialises
in managing large-scale projects for, and with, young people. He was the
manager of Sounding Out, the UK’s first £1 million community
music project, prior to which he spent seven years as Education Director
at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, where he won a Royal
Philharmonic Society Award for Best Education Work in 2000. Bill moved
into project management following a successful career as a community musician
working across the north of England and as far afield as Denmark and Austria
on projects often involving hundreds of young people. |

Viv Bolton:
Project Administrator |
| Viv is the project administrator, a role which
sits well with her interest in promoting the creative arts in schools.
With a background in speech therapy and more lately in public relations,
she has been able to draw on her experience and skills from these diverse
professions to deliver the RACA project, from attending artists’
workshops to training students as learning mentors and handling publicity.
A keen dancer herself, Viv has recently qualified as a dance instructor
in modern jive for adults. |
